(TH) James P. Chapados, DDS, PS : I was born in Kodiak, Alaska and was raised in Chehalis, Washington. I attended Washington State University majoring in Zoology. I played baseball all four years at WSU and enjoyed the competition at the college level.
My summers were spent in Fairbanks, AK, playing summer ball and working for my uncle. I graduated in 1973 and was accepted to the University of Washington Dental School. I took a semester off during my Junior year to attend spring training for the LA Dodgers in Florida which I enjoyed immensely.

(TH) Kathy C. RDH, BS : Kathy grew up in Duluth, Minnesota. She graduated and taught Dental Hygiene at the University of Minnesota. She and her husband moved to the Tri-Cities with their three girls and started working at Chapados Family Dentistry in 1992.
During the past four years, she has been a dental instructor at Columbia Basin College with the Dental Hygiene Program. She is passionate in her commitment to help her patients maintain healthy teeth and gums.

(TH) Chapados Family Dentistry is open Monday through Friday from 7 am until 5 pm. Every other Friday, the office hours are 7 am until 12 noon.We will schedule your appointment as promptly as possible. If you have pain or an emergency situation, every attempt will be made to see you that day.

(TH) Your initial appointment will consist of a hygiene appointment and a consultation of your diagnosis and treatment options.Occasionally, treatment can be performed on the same day. However, a complex medical history and treatment plan will require evaluation and a second appointment to provide treatment on a separate day.Please assist us by providing the following at the time of the first appointment:

Warm blankets and sunglasses for those bright overhead lights are available to help you relax.

(TH) Your dental plan is a form of compensation provided by your employer. You can expect the carrier (insurance company) to reimburse us for a portion of the fee. That portion is determined by the contract between your employer and the insurance company. The higher the premium paid by your company, the more generous the reimbursement.Although we are not a party to the contractual arrangement with your insurance company, we do want to help you receive the maximum reimbursement to which you are entitled.Tri City Dental

(TH) Our fees take into consideration the high quality of the materials we use, our strong commitment to continuing education, and the depth of our experience.We do our best to make dentistry affordable by offering several financing choices. You can choose the one that’s right for you.
Our administrative staff is highly skilled in maximizing insurance benefits for you but insurance will generally pay for only a portion of your treatment.Financing options include:
